Joe W. Cole, age 74, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2019. He is the loving husband of Susan for over 26 years. Dear father of James (Jennifer) Cole, Tonya (Bob) Houck, James (Jessica) Rasmussen and Carrie (Frank Moderiffi) Richert. Brother of James (Nelda) Cole. Joe also leaves 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, James; mother I.V.; step-mother, Jewel; and sister Nola Arman, Joe was born on January 10, 1945 in Jaspar, Alabama. He was raised in Hollywood, Florida and graduated in 1963 from McArthur High School. He earned his Electrician Apprentice certificate in 1973 and a certificate in Robotics in 1985. Joe worked as a foreman at Fisher Body, Coldwater Rd., from 1977-1983. He moved over to Ford Motor Company, where he later retired. Joe was a faithful man and served as Deacon at Holy Ground Baptist Church for 24 years. He loved being an Electrician, was an avid gardener, and a sharp shooter at pool. But nothing compared to the love he had for his family. Special thanks to Reverence Hospice. A memorial gathering will be held on October 5th, at 1pm, at Holy Ground Baptist Church, 4381 E.
