DELASHMIT, Maxine - Of Flint, age 87, died Saturday, December 14, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Glenn Tatterson officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Whaley Children’s Center.
Visitation 11am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Maxine was born in Flint, Michigan on February 21, 1932, the daughter of the late Frederick and Wava (Bailey) McKnight. Maxine loved music, reading and spending time up North at her cottage with her family.
Surviving are son, David Delashmit;
Grandchildren, Eric, Tim and Jeff;
Great-grandchildren, Julianna, Tyler and Jeff;
Brothers, James, Walter and Danny McKnight;
Sisters, Margaret Dumbrowski and Mary Gaylord;
Many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Delashmit II, son, James Delashmit III, daughters, Margaret Muma and Diane Dutro and grandson, Troy Muma.
