BROCK, Leroy E. - Age 84, of Snellville, GA formerly of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, August 18, 2018. Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township. Pastor Larry Gill officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Leroy was born February 16, 1934 in Flint, the son of Ralph Brock and Daisy Loomis Wells. He married Sue Childers December 20, 1985 in Flint. He has resided in Snellville, GA since 1996 coming from Swartz Creek. He retired from Consumers Power. Leroy was a member of Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene where he was a member of the choir. He was also a member of the Grand Blanc Elks Club, where he sang in the Men's Glee Club.
Surviving are: his wife, Sue; his children, Carol Rathburn, Kevin Brock, and Brian (Sandra) Brock; stepchildren, Jacqueline (Jerry) Richardson and Mark (Marjorie) Duff; grandchildren, Siobhan (Jason) Norris, Jason (Sherry) Rathburn, Jared (Daneen) Richardson, Timothy Richardson, and Lindsey (Scott) Campell; 10 great grandchildren; brother, John "Pete" (Norene) Wells, Jr.; sister, Melinda (Joe) Spicer; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Roxanne King; step-son, Robert Duff; brother, Bruce Wells; sisters, Sharon Buell and Barbara McClara. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
