SMITH, Darin W. – Of Flint, age 52, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at his residence. Cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
Darin was born November 1, 1964 to Casper and Diana (VandenBerg) Smith. He graduated from Clio High School in 1982. Darin worked as a Journeyman Millwright for 20 years. He was a jack of all trades. Darin enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and wildlife in general. Darin especially loved spending time with his children and granddaughters.
Surviving are: Children: Vanessa Smith, and Darik (Briana) Smith; Granddaughters: Lyric, and Zoie; Father, Casper Smith; Siblings: Dennis (Oralia) Smith, and Dan (Jeanette) Smith; Nieces, Megan, and Shelby; Nephews, Danny, Cal, Trevor, and Joel.
