BURNSIDE, Patricia Ann. – of North Port, Florida, and Clio, Michigan, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor John Southern officiating. Burial in Flint memorial park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3PM until 8PM and Thursday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, Florida or Shults-Lewis Child and Family Services in Valparaiso, Indiana.
Pat was born December 31, 1937 in Flint, Michigan to the late Lee and Caroline (Waltrip) Williams. She graduated from Mars Hill Bible School in Florence, Alabama. Pat married William “Bill” Burnside on September 2, 1961 at Court Street Church of Christ in Flint. She was a member of Clio Church of Christ in Michigan and Venice Church of Christ in Florida where she enjoyed her lady’s devotional bible class every Thursday. Pat knew the love for her Lord, was a disciple of Christ and a true servant of God. She enjoyed long rides and walks on the beach collecting shells. Pat loved crafting, toll painting, stained glass, crocheting, knitting, jewelry making and ceramics.
Surviving are: Husband, Bill Burnside; Son, Chip Burnside; Brothers: Art Williams and Lloyd Williams; Many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends. Pat was also preceded in death by her brothers: Carol Lee Williams and Walt Williams; Sisters in law: Sue Williams and Evelyn Williams.
