Earl L. Reamer, age 83, a lifetime resident of Lapeer passed away on December 5, 2014 in the comforts of his home surrounded by his family at his bedside. Earl was an excavating contractor and agricultural farmer and as such, enjoyed spending time in the outdoors of Michigan. He was a wonderful father and grandfather to his 7 children and 15 grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his witty personality.
Earl is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Joyce Reamer; his children, Doug Reamer, Kevin (Tammy) Reamer, Vicki (Brad) Shoults, Steve (Jennifer) Reamer, Lisa Shuman, and Tami (Brad) Charnley; his grandchildren Cheyanne, Amanda, Emily, Traci, Ryan, Tara, Nicholas, Joseph, Alex, Zak, Brittany, Dustin, Tanner and Maddie; 7 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Bessie Bell, his son Mark Reamer, his granddaughter Suzanne Reamer, and his brothers Theron and Elwin (Bud) Reamer.
Funeral service from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel, 542 Liberty Park, Lapeer, on Monday, December 8 at 11 AM with Pastor Keith Atwood officiating. Friends may visit on Sunday December 7 from 2-8 PM. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
