MONTAGUE, Sandra “Sandy” Jean – of Grand Blanc, age 75, passed away November 17, 2018 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Chris Vitarelli officiating. Cremation to follow the Funeral Service. Visitation will be Monday 4-8PM, Tuesday 10AM-8PM and Wednesday two hours prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Sandy was born October 23, 1943 in Piggott, Arkansas, daughter of the late Sidney & Jewell (Lingle) Johnson. She married David Montague September 29, 1962 at Grand Blanc Baptist Church. Sandy enjoyed crafting and especially quilting. She was an Evening Star Quilter. For 35 years, Sandy was a bus driver for the Davison Schools.
Sandy is survived by her husband, David; children, Heide (Edward) Bolanowski, David (Helen) Montague Jr. and Melissa Montague; grandchildren, Heather, Brandt, Niesha, Isiah, Rosalie; great-granddaughter, Lydia; sister, Deborah (John) Walsh and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tiana and babies A & B.
