FINTON, Christine Ann – of Clio, age 75, died Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Karmanos Cancer Institute. Private Family Services will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Christine was born February 18, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Harry and Lorena (Larson) Layman. She grew up in Birch Run, Michigan and graduated from Birch Run High School with the class of 1963. On June 26, 1965 she married Charles Finton in Birch Run, Michigan and he preceded her in death in 2017. Prior to her retirement, Christine worked for Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance Company for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Christine made the world a brighter and happier place.
Surviving are: Daughter, Kristin Finton; Brother, Donald (Mary Kay) Layman; Sister in law, Gail Zoromski; Nieces and Nephews, Scott (Loren) Layman, Mark (Susan) Layman, Kristy (Todd) Doyle, David Zoromski, Ken Zoromski, Lori (John) Hancock.
