SLATER, Brett – Of Swartz Creek, age 54, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at University Hospitals in Ann Arbor.
Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the service and burial will take place at a later date at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Visitation 1-3pm and 5-8pm Thursday and 10am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Brett was born in Flint on May 5, 1961. Brett worked at Flint Warm Air Supply. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and was a huge Spartan fan.
Surviving are parents, Bill and Sue;
sisters, Vickie and husband Steve Selinger, Paula and husband Mike Paulina;
brother, Jeffery and wife Cyndy and his twin brother, Brian and wife Sherry Slater;
nieces and nephews, Amber Butler, Justin Slater, Bradley Slater, Michael Slater, Brad Bland, Kelly Hazel, Andy Selinger, Tom Selinger, Leanne Selinger, Alex Paulina and Ben Paulina;
several great nieces, nephews and extended family members.
