ROTH, Ivan Carl – age 86, of Clio, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Michael Roth officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9PM and Friday from 12-9PM.
Ivan was born March 30, 1926 in Millington to the late Carl and Alice (Diamond) Roth. He married Margaret Cook on August 21, 1948. She preceded him in death on October 11, 2010. Mr. Roth worked as a skilled tradesman for 22 years at Universal Engineering in Frankenmuth and 18 years at AC in Flint. He owned and operated Ike’s Lawn Mower Repair business since 1973. He was a member of New Covenant Church.
He is survived by: children, Stephen of Clio, and Sandy of Mt. Morris; 2 grandchildren, Scott Cayer of Mt. Morris and Wendy (Ron) Coron of Clio; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Dale Roth of Millington; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Hazen Roth.
