SMITH, JOHN age 69, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Hurley Medical Center. Memorial Services will be 4:30 P.M. Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Tia Helitas Mexican Restaurant, 4070 S. Saginaw St., Burton, MI 48529 . John was born February 5, 1943 in Corpus Christi, TX. to parents Lamar and Ofelia (Saldana) Smith. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked for Buick Motors. John loved to dance and sing at the Davison Special Need Dances. Surviving are sister Yvonne Travis of Flint, MI. and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert J. Smith. Funeral arrangements by the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI.
