PARKER, Dale Craig - Of Swartz Creek, age 70, died Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
A Memorial Service will be held 6pm Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Dr. Gary Glanville officiating.
Visitation 12-6pm Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Craig was born in LaPorte, Indiana on June 6, 1948, the son of the late Mable Grace (King) and James W. Parker. In June 1967, he married Peggy L. Miller. Craig was a meat cutter for Hamady Brothers for 25 years until they closed and then retired from Flint Township in 2015, after 11 years of service. He coached football and baseball for over 30 years for Carman Ainsworth Schools. He enjoyed traveling and attending classic car shows and meeting new friends.
Surviving are wife, Peggy;
sons, Jerry M. Parker, Jeffrey D. and wife Carrie Parker;
grandchildren, Jacob, MacKenzie, Jordan and Brennan;
sister-in-law, Pat and Russ Hawley;
brothers-in-law, James and Donna Miller and Steve and Linda Miller;
many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother, Michael David Parker, sister-in-law, Yvonne Parker.
