GLUBZINSKI, Lillian T. - Of Flint, age 96, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, February 13, 2015 after a brief illness.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Monday, February 16, 2015
at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G3139 Hogarth Avenue, Flint,
Father Robert F. Copeland officiating.
Burial in St. Robert Cemetery in Flushing

Visitation 2-8pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. Visitation at the church 9:30am Monday until the time of the Mass.
Lillian was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 25, 1918, to Stanley and Katherine Cwieka. A graduate of Flint Northern High School, she became a proud career homemaker of 63 years after marrying Florian Glubzinski on January 1, 1943, who passed away on October 22, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother Charlie, and sisters Irene and Florence. She treasured her Polish heritage and lovingly extended it to her wonderful family; Florence (Linden) Allen of Houghton Lake, Connie (Rick) Ellavich-Doerr (Flushing), Louis (Cynthia) Glubzinski of Howell, Catherine Sluys of Flint, Luci (Dennis) Kirk of Flushing, Robert (Ann) of Novi, Stanley (Cheryl) of Fenton, and Donald (Nancy) of Flushing. She continued challenging and encouraging 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was a proud member of Don Polski, the PLAV Auxiliary, and St. Robert Senior Citizens Club. Her joys were her family, polka dancing, fishing at Houghton Lake, traveling and casino trips with Florian, and cheering on her beloved Detroit Tigers.
