Chuck “Junior” Boadway, 79, of Davison, passed away March 22, 2014 with his loving family at his bedside. He was born in Pontiac, MI on December 26, 1934, son to Hilburn and Ester Boadway. Chuck retired from General Motors in 1990 after 40 years of dedicated service. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren who loved him dearly. Chuck was a kind hearted and loving man who always had a smile on his face.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nancy Noell Boadway; step-children, Jerry (Cheryl) Noell of Columbiaville, Mary (the late, Terry) Pope of Otisville, Gary (Bonnie) Noell of Onaway, Sherry (Michael) Lesiewicz of Lapeer; 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; sister Faith Nystrom; sisters-in-law Effie Boadway, Shirley Boadway; brother Bill (Sharon) Boadway; sister-in-law Shirley Boadway; brother Glen (Lee) Boadway; brother Roy (Bruni) Boadway.
Preceded in death by step-son Bobby Noell; sisters Norma Barcome, Betty Backus; brothers Ken Boadway and Howard Boadway; grandson Adam Montgomery.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Memorial donations to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation are greatly appreciated.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors Capstick Chapel, 542 Liberty Park Lapeer, MI 48446.
