Rice, Mr. Lawrence Ricky age-41 passed away Friday April 15, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 11am Tuesday April 26, 2016 from the Living Hope Kingdom 7032 S. Wentworth Ave., Chicago, Illinois. Min. Julius K. Washington officiating.
Mr. Lawrence Ricky Rice was born September 7, 1974 in Chicago, Ill. The son of Charmane Rice and Lawrence White. He loved music, shoes and had a thrill for life. He also loved to have fun and to laugh being around people. He leaves to cherish his memory 6 daughters Shyalitta Bennett and Cassandra Gurtez, 6 sons Eddie Gardner, Zakia Merriweather, Jeremiha Gurtez, Jonell Wells, Elysis Wilson and LaXaria Lee 3 grandchildren Jarlyn Nickles, Eddie and Treymain Gardner, sister Gloria Rice, 2 brothers Charles and Pervis Rice all of Chicago, Ill 2 nieces Trinity and Shayna Rice 4 nephews Pervis Wright, Armani Crayton, Charles and Charleston Rice. A host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to express special thanks to everyone who called or said a prayer.
