SCHOFIELD, Robert A. "Bob". – of Birch Run, age 74, died Saturday October 29 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1PM until 8PM and Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Contributions may be made to the Animal Shelter of your choice, American Diabetes Association or the American Lung Association.
Bob was born July 28, 1942 in Flint, Michigan to the late Harvey and Pauline (Spiker) Schofield. He married Connie Lee Weir in January of 1966. Mr. Schofield retired from Flint Truck and Bus with 42 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #598. Bob was a simple man who enjoyed farming, hunting, camping and woodworking. He was a huge Elvis fan. Bob enjoyed life to its fullest.
Surviving are: Wife, Connie Schofield of Birch Run; Sister, Melanie (Robert) Johnson; Nephews: Michael (Michelle) Johnson, and Scott Johnson; 2 great nieces, Brooklynn and Chloe Johnson. Please sign our guest book or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
