PARSONS, Michael – of Davison, Michigan, age 62, passed away September 20, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Liturgy will be held at 2 PM Friday, September 23, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Visitation will be 1-2 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parkersburg Catholic High School, 3201 Fairview Ave., Parkersburg, WV 26104.
Michael was born in Parkersburg, WV on October 4, 1953, son of the late William and Eloise (Moyers) Parsons, Sr. He graduated from Parkersburg Catholic High School in 1971 and Hocking College. Michael worked in upper management in logistics for the automobile industry. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Michael is survived by his children, Megan E., Luke M., Emma M.; mother of his children, Michelle E.; sister, Bernadine (Rick) Yarnell; brothers, Bill (Linda) Parsons, Howard (Anne) Parsons; several nieces and nephews. Michael was a devoted and loving father, brother and friend who will be greatly missed by all.
