JOHNSON, Wanda J. – of Grand Blanc, age 88, died Friday, May 27, 2016. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio from 4-6 PM with a memorial service at 6 PM. Contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Wanda was born October 22, 1927, in Neosho, MO to the late Charles and Flossie Hill. She was a resident of the Flint area most of her life. She married Bernard Johnson on December 22, 1946. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2000. Mrs. Johnson was a waitress for the IMA and several restaurants,then managed Kearsley Manor. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved playing bingo and slot machines.
Surviving are: Children: Joan (William) Miller of Grand Blanc, Donna Johnson of Grand Blanc, Martin Johnson of Clio; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
