MONTAGUE, Wayne C. – of Clio, age 72, died Monday, July 4, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Friday, July 8, 2016 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Chad Montague officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be Friday from 11 AM until time of services at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Wayne was born in Flint on June 23, 1944 to the late Warren and Bernice (Rosenberger) Montague. He was a resident of Clio most of his life. He married Patricia Parker on October 15, 1998. Wayne was employed by Simms Chevrolet retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Boy Scouts Troop 166 of Clio, Loyal Order of Moose Birch Run Lodge where he was Past Governor and the Vienna Masonic Lodge F & AM.
Surviving are: wife, Patricia; Children: Wayne (Tonya) Montague of Clio, Tina (Brian) Allison of Mt. Morris, Connie (Steve) White of Otisville, Richard (Terri) Hidey of St. Helen, Lisa (Tim) Hillier of Clio, Tina Arnold of AZ; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; Siblings: Carl (Susette) Montague of Clio, Dennis (Patti) Montague of Davison, Karen (Arthur) Male of Gladwin, Kim (Rexanne) Montague of Howard City, Teresa Montague Baty of AR; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: first wife, Diana Montague in 1972; son, Bruce Montague; and a brother, Charles Montague.
