STANFILL, Jerry L. - Of Burton, age 75, passed away freely surrounded by his family Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Swartz
Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Brent Kriesch officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Genesee Christian Schools. Visitation 4-8pm Friday and 12pm Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Jerry was born in Flint, Michigan on January 31, 1949, the son of the late James S. and Mary Alice (Cain) Stanfill. Jerry was employed
with General Motors and retired after 41 years. He attended Faith Missionary Church. Jerry loved deer hunting, NASCAR, classic cars (especially restoring them) and car shows. He was a devoted father and grandfather. Surviving are sons, Jerry Jr., JD (Shanda) and Chris (Lynda); Many grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; And many nieces, nephews and cousins.
