Margaret Eileen (Mickey) McManaman Ballantyne, 89 of Mt. Pleasant, SC died Wednesday 11/25 surrounded by loving family.
Born 8/29/26 in Mt. Pleasant, MI she was a long time Flint resident. She attended St. Michael's HS and Marygrove College. She was a legal secretary smd part owner of the Rings People and also owned a medical transcription service. She volunteered with many local organizations including Flint Junior Golf and The Needlework Guild. She loved playing golf and bridge at the Flint Golf Club, Michigan football games, Pentwater vacations,reading and trying out crazy recipes on her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Tom in 2003. She is survived by Laurie Ryan-S. Carolina,Mandy Easter=St. Louis,Bruce Ballantyne-Chicago, Bonnie Duhon-Flint, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a dear brother Dennis and wife Barbara McManaman of Saginaw.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 12, 11:00 AM at the Flint Golf Club. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Needlework Guild c/o 1212 Woodlawn Park Dr. Flint 48503 |
