Dunlap, Pamela Joy – of Fenton died Friday, November 15, 2024 at Vicinia Gardens. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church -600 North Adelaide in Fenton, Father Robert Copeland officiating. Visitation with the family will take place at the church at 10:00 am prior to the funeral Mass. Contributions may be made to St John the Evangelist Catholic Church or the St Luke’s N.E.W. Life Center.
Pamela was born in Haverhill, Suffolk England on June 14, 1935, the daughter of the late Ernest and Eva (Preston) Iron. She came to the United States in 1954 and became a lifelong member of the TBA British Club. Pamela spent a lifetime dedicated to the unconditional love and support for her family.
Pam spent 42 years married to the love of her life George Henry Dunlap. Pam was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She instantly brought joy and laughter when she entered a room. She was always the life of the party. Pam loved to sing, tell stories and mostly to make people laugh. Her kindness and larger than life personality have impacted so many. Her fun-loving spirit and witty British humor will be sorely missed by her family and many friends.
Pam died peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
She will be forever missed by her children Melvin Kerr (Margaret Arquilla), William (Jennifer) Kerr, Keely Mounger (Kathleen McGee), Linda (Mike) Kay.
Grandchildren: William (Katie) Kerr, Kristie Kerr, Matthew (Evelyn) Kerr, Andrea Adams, Jacob (Asia) Mounger, Joseph (Elyse) Mounger, Kelsey (Joseph) Neminski.
Great grandchildren: Christian Caesar, Nathan Kerr, Liam Kerr, Britain Mounger, Jackson Mounger, Wesley Adams, Henry Kerr, Adam Kerr. And two others joining the world in the spring that Pam so wanted to meet: Lucy Mae Neminski and Charles George Mounger.
Pam is also survived by her loving family in England: sisters Maureen (Paddy) Taylor, Penny Antill, Bev (John) Parish; Sisters-in-laws Sally Iron and Geraldine Iron Green as well as many nieces and nephews.
As well as step children William Dunlap, Judith Perkins, Teresa Lipe, George Dunlap; brother-in-law James (Nancy) Dunlap; sister-in-law Beverly Dunlap.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband George, parents, step daughter Sherry Dunlap, grandson George Dunlap, brothers Tony Iron and Roger Iron, brothers in law Charles Dunlap, Paul Dunlap, John Dunlap, sister Julia, sister-in-law Earla Dunlap.
We are assured by Pam’s faith that she has been welcomed by the Angels to Paradise to be with our Lord. Pam will forever serve as a strong, humorous and loving role model and will be with us always.
