Drubin, Mavis E. of Flushing, age 88, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at her home. Cremation has taken place. Per her wishes, no services will be held.
Mavis was born in Leachville, Arkansas on August 3, 1924, the daughter of William and Emily (Nixon) Hodge. Mavis enjoyed golfing and bowling and was an avid Detroit Tiger fan. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Mavis is survived by her children, Diane and husband Martin Davies, Rick and wife Sandra Drubin, Randy Drubin; grandson, Nicholas Drubin and sister, Madelyn Pillsbury. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Brett Davies; sister, Christine Lindsey; brother, Jack Hodge; and lifelong friend, Ethel LaVanway. |
