ROESER, Carl W. – Of Grand Blanc, age 73, died Monday, June 27, 2011 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Father Kusitino Cobona officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or charity of one's choice. Visitation 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Scripture Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Roeser will be at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the Mass. Carl was born in Saginaw, Michigan on May 12, 1938, the son of Carl and Mildred (Stark) Roeser. On February 15, 1969 he married Carolyn Riefe in Saginaw.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Mr. Roeser retired from Kettering University in 2000. Surviving are wife, Carolyn;
three sons, Christopher and wife Saloni of Canton, Michigan,
Scott of Chicago, Mark and wife Katrina of Western Springs, Illinois;
