KIDDER, Craig Matthew – Of Kalkaska and Flint, age 52, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Munson Hospital in Traverse City. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at St. Mary's Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 South Morrish Road, Swartz Creek, Father Daniel Kogut officiating.Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery with a military graveside service under the auspices of Marine Corps League Flint Detachment #155 Honor Guard.
Those desiring may make contributions to St. Mary’s Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Scripture Service will be held Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Kidder will be at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the Mass.
Craig was born in Flint, Michigan on October 31, 1959.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was an avid golfer, fisherman, bowler; loved the Detroit Lions, Tigers and U of M Football.
Mr. Kidder was employed by Grand Blanc Metal Fab for 25 years.
Surviving are mother, Joan;
brothers, Ernie and friend Bea and
Mike (Sharon);
sisters, Pamela (Bob) McKee and Mary Anne (Robert) Chapman;
many nieces, nephews and
special pet, his cat, Lucky.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest; grandparents, Alice and Russell Oost; uncles, David and Robert Whitburn.
