SCOFIELD, Betty Marie – Of Swartz Creek, age 85, died Sunday, August 2, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Sjogren’s Syndrome and Sensory Neuropathy.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Betty was born in Flint on April 12, 1935, the daughter of John and Viola (Smith) May.
She loved to watch the Detroit Tigers play, listening to music and playing the piano.
Betty was devoted to her family and her soul mate of 30 years, Jim.
Surviving are soul mate, Jim Kleckner;
children, David Scofield and Connie (Dennis) Winston;
brother, Donavon (Judy) May;
grandchildren, Michael, Austin (Angel), Noah, Sarah (Dan), Robert (Amanda), Jacob (Mallory), Steven and Susie;
great-grandchildren, Ethan, Hannah, Caleb, Kayden, Makayla and Cohen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Patti Sulfridge.
