MILLER, James L. – of Flint, age 53, died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 520 Butler St., Clio, Reverend E. Enwood Nevis officiating. Burial will be at Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 5-9PM, Tuesday from 12-9pm, and on Wednesday from 10AM until time of services. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Jim was born April 17, 1958 in Macomb County to Ralph and Catherine (Baxley) Miller, He resided in Flint his entire life. Jim retired from K Mart in 2009. He enjoyed family, friends, flowers and collected rocks from his travels.
Surviving are: father, Ralph Miller; siblings, Henry Miller of Madison Heights, Lenora (Royce) Fowler of Swartz Creek, Kathleen Curvoe of Flint, Barbara (Johnny) Dice of Mt. Morris, Russell Miller of Holly and Patrick Miller of Mt. Morris. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Catherine Miller; and an aunt, Patricia Thibault, both in 1997.
