Carol McDermid, age 81 passed away on February 20, 2019 after battling lung cancer. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 1pm with two hours of visitation prior to the service at Reigle Funeral Home -5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan. Carol was born on October 29, 1937 in Hamtramck, Michigan to the late John and Irene Koback. Carol loved quilting, gardening, reading, and being surrounded by her family. Some of her favorite moments were spent outside sharing stories and talking up a storm with her family. Carol was a wonderful woman and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her children: Michael (Cindy) Glen, Susan Purdon, Karen Glen, Laura (Gary Natzke) Reville-Natzke; grandchildren: Jennifer Glen, Arthur (Veronica) Glen, Michael (Tiffany) Glen, Ryan (Elizabeth Kiki) Glen, Rachel Glen, Travis Cody Reville; great-grandchildren: Noah Glen, Clayton Glen, Brennan Glen, Easton Glen, Cecelia Glen, Giorgio Reville; brother, Ronald Koback; and her loving dog, Morkie Joe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Glen; husband, James McDermid; great-grandson, Christian Glen; and her parents. The family would like to send a thank you the individuals at Medical Team Hospice, with a special thank you to Jolene, for their dedication, care, and support they gave to Carol.
