DAVIDSON, Rosedeana - Age 86, of Fenton, died Saturday, October 1, 2016, Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Lake Fenton United Methodist Church, 2581 N. Long Lake Road, Fenton. Dr. William Cargo officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Wednesday from 4-8 PM and at the church Thursday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Lake Fenton United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
Rosedeana was born March 31, 1930 in Terre Haute, IN the daughter of Arthur and Ola Maybelle (McDaniel) Robertson. She married Thomas E. Davidson March 20, 1949 in Terre Haute, IN. She retired in 1989 from the City of Flint as the Senior Citizen Recreation Supervisor at Haskell Senior Citizens Center and then at Pierce Park Senior Citizens Center. She was the founder of the Flint Roadrunners Camping Club. Rosedeana was a member of Lake Fenton United Methodist Church, where she was the choir director for 25 years. She also was a member of the Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem.
Surviving are: her husband of 67 years, Thomas; 4 children, Thomas and wife Kathleen Davidson of Tawas City, Robert Davidson and partner Ward Lindsay of Fenton, James and wife Jackie Davidson of Swartz Creek, and Herb and wife Sherry Davidson of Fenton; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Davidson of Battle Creek; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, William Davidson; sister, Macil Longacre; and brothers, Fred and Norman Robertson. Tributes may be posted on the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
