WILSON, Ralph Edward – Of Flushing, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018
at the Flushing Presbyterian Church, 5010 North McKinley Road, Flushing, Reverend Teresa Peterson officiating.
Burial in Acacia Park in Beverly Hills, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Flushing Presbyterian Church/Family Promise.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mr. Wilson will be at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service.
Ralph was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 5, 1934, the son of the late Odette (Forten) and Ralph Wilson and was a resident of Detroit, MI, Livonia, MI, West Bloomfield, MI Union Lake, MI, Waterford, MI, Atlanta, MI, Las Vegas, NV and Flushing, MI.
On August 27, 1955 he married his to-be wife of 61 years, Susan Wilson (Wyllie) and she preceded him in death on May 16, 2017.
He was a member of Flushing Presbyterian Church.
Ralph loved living on Union Lake, snowmobiling at Canada Creek Ranch, being a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather; Little League Coach; CPA on first attempt 1958; Grace Presbyterian Fast Pitch Team, DIFCO Laboratories Comptroller/CFO and Canada Creek Ranch Board of Directors.
Ralph is survived by his sister, Odette (Wilson) Wolfe;
sons, Kenneth (Kimberly) Wilson and Robert Wilson;
granddaughters, Kara (Wilson) Mitchell, Kayla Wilson, Pamela Wilson and Rachel Wilson;
great-granddaughter, Kinley Mitchell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan on May 16, 2017.
