DUNCKEL-HASTINGS, Suzanne M. - Of Davison, age 66, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family, loved now more than ever by her husband, John.
Memorial visitation will be held 1-8pm Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation has taken place.

Suzanne was born in Albion, Michigan on September 26, 1952, the daughter of the late Richard and Esther (McFate) Dunckel. On December 26, 1994, she married her loving companion of 43 years, John Hastings in Flushing, Michigan. She was employed by General Motors for 15 years as an assembly line worker and also served the deaf community there. Suzanne later worked at the post office as a rural carrier for another 20 years. She was a strong Union supporter and served as a Steward at both GM and later the post office.
Surviving are husband, John;
Children, Scholeigh (Marc) Kyle, Shayne (Krysten) Hastings;
Grandchildren, Savana, Chayce, and Keegan Kyle;
Sisters, Peggy (Phil) Rodriguez, and Michelle (John) Bedard;
Brother-in-law, Gary Johnson;
Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Juanita “Candy” Johnson.
