POPILCHAK, Michael S. - Age 58 of Mundy Twp., died June 18, 2018. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM June 22 at St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church 2439 S. Long Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held 2PM-7PM Thursday and 10 AM-11AM Friday at Church. Panakhida Service 7PM Thursday also at Church. Father Gabriel Bilas officiating. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church in memory of Michael. Michael was born July 12, 1959 in Chicago, the son of Michael and Dolores (Alcala) Popilchak. He married Terri Williams in Chicago January 12, 2008. Michael was a Futures broker and worked on the Floor of the Chicago Board of Trade starting in 1976. He later served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Sweet Futures 1, LLC. Michael was very social, he loved interacting with people, his family, friends, church members, and singing in the choir at St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church. Michael was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, and Cubs! He also enjoyed traditional Russian music and sci-fi movies. Surviving are: his wife Terri; daughter, Chloe Popilchak; Sherri Dudkowski (Chloe's mom); stepchildren, Dustin Williams, Derek Williams, and Ashley Pytleski; grandchildren, Aubrey, Caiden,Victoria; brother, Edward Popilchak; niece, Danielle (Michael) Burt; great niece Ella Burt; great nephew Brady Burt; cousin Sharon (Popilchak) Pulver. Michael was preceded in death by his parents; uncle, John Popilchak; and aunt Millie Popilchak. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
