SANBORN, Steven Roy – of Davison, age 58, passed away July 25, 2016 unexpectedly. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 12 PM Friday, July 29, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. A memorial gathering will be 3-7 PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be made to For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum.
Steven was born in Flint, MI on December 5, 1957, son of William and Shirley (Counterman) Sanborn.
Steven is survived by his mother, Shirley Sanborn; sons, Derek (Helen) Sanborn, Russell (Caitlin Schwartz) Sanborn and their mother Karen; grandchildren, Lily and Paisley; siblings, Ira, Mark (Yvonne), Sharon (Michael) Gillies, Alan (Lisa), Lisa (Jody), Emily (Ray) Linton, William (Diane), Brian; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William James Sanborn. In memory of our dad, keep your faith, love your family, share your blessings and go fishing.
