DAMOTH, Theodore James “Ted” - Of Flint, age 80, died Friday, October 28, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Reverend Wayne Ferrigan officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Paralyzed American Veterans. Visitation 1-4 p.m. Sunday and Monday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Ted was born in Flint on December 9, 1930, son of Wellington and Mary Damoth. He married Geneva Miles in 1974 in Flint and she preceded him in death in 1998. Ted retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service to our country, having served during the Korean War and Vietnam War. Following his Air Force career, he also worked for and retired from the Michigan Bell/AT&T Company.
Surviving are stepsons, Robert (Lente) Ouellette and David (Kim) Ouellette;
Grandchildren, Dustin, Analisa and Megan Ouellette, Damian, Gideon and Gabriel Ouellette; Great-granddaughter, Isabella Ouellette;
Sisters, Jeanette Loasching, Delores Damoth, Patricia Visnaw and Nancy Damoth; sister-in-law, Melba Damoth; Many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Wellington and Mary Damoth and brother, William (Bill) Damoth. Your condolences may be shared with the family at swartzfuneralhomeinc.com
