HALICEK, Richard - of Davison, age 56, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at his residence. Rick’s family will be holding a private service to celebrate his life with close family and friends.
Rick was born on April 2, 1957, son of the late George and Almeda Halicek. He graduated from Brandon High School, and served our country with the United States Air Force. Rick married Sue McComb on July 18, 1983. Their son, Nathan Halicek was born on January 4, 1985. Rick worked for GM for 35 years, retiring from Orion Assembly in 2011. He enjoyed the time in his barn, doing yard work and gardening, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Rick is survived by his wife, Sue Halicek; son, Nathan (Shaina) Halicek; grandchildren, Landon, Ashlynn and Katelyn; stepson, Terry (Cassie) Gibbs; brothers, Jack (Brenda) Halicek, George “Butch” (Linda) Halicek, Jerry (Sandy) Halicek; mother-in-law, Sally McComb, sister-in-law, Kathy Hickey; several nieces, nephews and a special nephew, Jerry Halicek. Rick was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip.
