STROUS, Donalda A. (Ostrander) – of Circleville, OH, age 59, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, OH. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Friday, June 28, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Keith Davis officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Thetford Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-1 PM Friday, June 28, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home.
Donalda was born in Flint, MI on May 31, 1960, daughter of the late Arthur and Thelma (Paget) Ostrander. She was a graduate of Flint Kearlsey High School Class of 1978 where she was named Miss Volleyball in the State of MI. After graduating high school, Donalda played volleyball at Indiana Tech. She qualified for the 1980 USA Olympic Volleyball Team and was inducted into the Indiana Tech Hall of Fame. Donalda retired from El DuPont.
Donalda is survived by her husband, Randall Strous; 4 stepchildren, Kellie (Matt) Evans, Kristie (Andy) Lumbard, Stephanie (Kelton Sines) Strous and Pam Jones; 6 grandchildren, Denajah Smith, Jadon Thompson, Reegan and Madison Evans, Logan and Rylee Lumbard; special friend, Elaine Jenkins and special companion, Pumpkin.
