Celebrating the Life of Steven Michael Douglas Hall
It is with both heavy hearts and smiles on our faces that we announce the passing of Steven Michael Douglas Hall on October 11, 2024. A man full of joy, laughter, and boundless love, Steve was truly one of a kind. He was an amazing father, loving husband, a supportive friend, and the life of every gathering. He made everyone around him feel like family-whether you were related by blood or by the love he showed so generously.
Born on October 7, 1955, Steve lived his life with an open heart, embracing every adventure and every person that came his way. He was the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back, and then tell you a joke that would leave you laughing for days. His ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and appreciated was his superpower, and his impact will be felt for generations to come.
In Steve's life, family was everything-and family meant more than just blood relatives. He believed in the power of love, connection, and community, creating a family that extended far beyond the traditional sense. Our family gatherings were always filled with laughter, stories, and support, because he built an environment where everyone felt welcomed and valued. Whether you were a lifelong friend, a neighbor, or a new face, you were embraced as part of our large, loving, and endlessly supportive family. His greatest joy was bringing people together, and his legacy lives on through the deep bonds he nurtured within this remarkable circle of love.
Steven is survived by his loving wife Sheri Hall of 37 years (Married August 9, 1987), his 6 children, Bobbi Jo Domaradzki, Derika Rickman, Carmen Brooks (Wally), Jeff Reid (Satina), Branden Downer, Michelle Reid, his loving siblings Craig Hall (Jeri), Michael Hall (Alicia), Mikki Jones (Paul), Bridget Lawson, Pete Hall and countless friends who became family along the way. Steve is now reunited with those who went before him, including his Mother, Delores Forrester, Father, Bill Hall, Brother, Jeff Hall, Son in Law Walter (Wally) Brooks and many friends he joins in a place where laughter never ends and love is eternal. Though we miss him deeply here, we take comfort knowing he is surrounded by those he loved, continuing the joyful reunions in the next chapter of his journey and probably convincing a few new friends to join his and Wally's ever-growing circle.
