RIVERA, Zachary (Sheep) Edward – of Davison, age 22, passed away June 29, 2015. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Thursday, July 2, 2015 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St., Flint; Fr. Thomas Firestone celebrant. Visitation will be Tuesday 4-8PM and Wednesday 12-8PM at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. A Rosary will be prayed at 7PM Wednesday. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
Zachary was born in Flint, MI to Jennifer (Racette) and Steve Rivera on June 15, 1993. He attended Davison High School and graduated in 2012.
Zachary is survived by his parents, Jennifer Rivera and Jim Walterhouse of Davison and Steve Rivera of Flint; loving sister, Alexandria; grandparents, Marvin and Wilma Racette; nana, Sam Decker; grandfather, the late Edward Rivera; aunt Rae (Racette) and uncle Matt Curtis, uncle Jim and aunt Darci Racette, uncle Paul and aunt Stephanie Racette, aunt Kim (Rivera) and uncle Bryan Burkhardt, uncle Ed Rivera and aunt Sherry Elliott, aunt Kari (Rivera) and uncle Derek Dutton; cousins, Stephen and Nadrah (Hussin) and Noah, Timothy and Holly (Holko) and Kyle Higgerson and Elyse Kamps, Matthew, Michael, Nicholas, and Jackson Racette, Luke Racette, Samantha (Burkhardt) and Chuck Nehonsky, Danielle Burkhardt, Quinn Curtis, Mallory (Curtis) and Ryan Simmons, and numerous other loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Zachary will be remembered with love by too many friends to count or name! He touched all whom he met, and the world is better for knowing him in the brief time we had together! Rest now. We love you.
