MILLER, Lynn Lester – Of Swartz Creek, age 69, died Friday, April 24, 2020 at Hurley Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home at a later date.
Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery with full U.S. Army Military Honors at a later date.
Lynn was born in Flint, Michigan on August 10, 1950, the son of the late Donald and Ramona (Ayotte) Miller.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Miller proudly worked for Al Serra Auto Plaza as a car salesman for 34 years and was a well-loved man. He was very passionate about the Al Serra Organization, the customers who throughout the years became life-long friends, and the many many co-workers who became family. He was known as the “Legend” throughout the organization because of how very loved he was and how great he was with people.
Lynn had such a love of life and everyone around him and enjoyed many activities that allowed him to be with family and friends, including golfing, hunting, fishing, playing games and cards, anything that was a group fun activity. He was an amazing and loving husband, father, grandfather and was always involved. His greatest joy was spending time with his family who loved him so very much.
Surviving are wife, Karen Miller;
children, Brian (Denise) Miller,
Bradley (Jennifer) Miller,
Brandie Stemple,
Katie (Adam) Patterson and
Nicholas Jacko;
grandchildren, Cara Miller, Brooklynn Orrison, Emily Miller, Alyssa Miller, Alexis Miller, Peyton Stemple Braylynn Patterson and the late Braden (Buddy) Miller.
brother, Rob Miller;
many nieces and nephews.
Very special life-long friends, Charles and Darlene Bruton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Braden “Buddy” Miller; brothers, Frank and Donald Miller and sister, Lucretia Cheshier.
In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking for Donations in Lynn’s name to the Team Buddy Forever Foundation or the Azheimer’s Association.
