FARBER, Margaret C. – Went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 14, 2016. She passed away peacefully at home, after serving the Lord 101 plus years.
Memorial visitation 4 p.m. and Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Lewis Canaday officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace School of the Bible.
Margaret Farber was born on December 15, 1914 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Alfred and Cora (Stuber) Woolston.
Margaret married Wayne Farber in December, 1933.
Sunshine Bible Shop was purchased from an ad in the paper in April, 1954.
Starting out as a housewife Margaret pursued many courses and seminars to successfully manage Sunshine Bible Shop for 62 years.
Wayne preceded her in death on April 15, 2007 and her daughter, Roselee, in August, 2015.
She is survived by five children, Rosemary Jack of Alpena,
Ed Farber of Flushing,
Al and wife Sue Farber of Swartz Creek,
Roseanne and husband Robert Oginsky of Flint,
Sid Farber of Flint;
many grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
nieces, nephews and great nieces.
She is now home with her Lord and Savior and her beloved husband, Wayne.
