WILLIAMS, Pamela Ann (Hemmert, Sefcovic, Underwood) – went to rejoice with Jesus on August 3, 2016, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Bob Brunell officiating. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Sunday. Born on December 29, 1946 to Betty Ann (Reynolds, Howlett) and Jack Hemmert, Pam grew up in Flint, but also resided in Clio, Davison, and Marshall, MI. She graduated 3rd in her class (Beecher, 1965). In High School she participated in and lead many activities, her favorite being band.

A near fatal car accident at 18, put Pam's life on a new path. She knew that Jesus had spared her life and devoted it to serving Him. She was the church librarian at Faith Fellowship Ministries, Drama Team member with Generation of Destiny, and faithful attendee and tither to several other congregations including First Presbyterian of Flint. Pam traveled abroad bringing the message of God to others through plays and love of singing. Her huge collection of commemorative spoons shows a life filled with travel.

If you knew Pam, then chances are she bought you a gift, or twenty. She loved holidays or any other reason to shop, wrap, and shower family and friends with tokens of her love, especially her grandchildren. Pam loved growing a garden every year, with an affinity for roses. Sewing, knitting, painting, ceramics and square dancing were other hobbies Pam enjoyed .

Pam retired from Rochester/Delphi in 2002 after 35 years. This was where she met her husband, Stanley, who preceded her in death.

Her loss will be felt by her surviving family, daughters Anna (William) Martin of Olivet, MI and Rebecca (Brad) Stevens of Davison, MI, her grandchildren, Levi, Wyatt, and Lucia Stevens and Sophia Martin, her beloved dog, Rusty, and a host of cousins. Pam will be met in Heaven by her husband, parents, Nana that helped raise her, horse Bootsie, and many other family members and friends. While there, we are sure she will be gathering gifts to await us all when we meet again.
