Cornel “Cori” Parker of Goodrich age 77 died Tuesday 5, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday September 8, 2017 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison, with Pastor Randy Johnson officiating. Private burial at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will start at 12:00 until time of service at 3:00 pm. Those desiring may make contributions in Cori’s memory may do so to Carriage Town Ministries, a non-profit that provides basic necessities, such as food and shelter, to individuals in the Flint and surrounding areas. Cori was born in Lilbourn Missouri on October 4, 1939 the daughter of the late John & Arbie (Murphy) Williams and had resided in the Goodrich-Burton area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Donald Parker in 1957 and he preceded her in death in 2007. Cori had been a Real Estate agent for many years and had worked for several of the agencies in the area. Surviving is son Rocko Parker and wife Chris, and daughter Tami Glasco-Tremblay and husband John. She also leaves her grandchildren; Candice Lucik and husband Chad, Mitchell Kerchner and wife Angella, Christina Herron and husband Jiles, Conrad “Spencer” Parker and fiancee’ Kelsey, Grant Parker and Samantha. Also her loving great grandchildren: Nicholas, Charles & Matthew Lucik, Madilyn & Douglas Kerchner, McKenzie, Dakota, & Elizabeth Herron. Also her brother: Bill Williams and wife Becky, and a host of extended family and friends.
