CARLEY, David Allen – of Flint, MI, age 54, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018. A Funeral Service will be held 7 PM Friday, February 9, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 3-7 PM Friday, February 9, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Dave was born in Flint, MI on March 31, 1963, son of Lynda (Belcher) and the late Raymond Edwin Carley, Jr. He loved fishing, camping, woodcarving, playing the guitar, Sunday drives, Mt. Dew, drawing Goofy, trips to Frankenmuth and spending time with his grandchildren. Dave was also the ultimate practical jokester always playing pranks on his family and friends.
Dave is survived by 2 daughters, Chelsea (Tommy) Walker and Ashley (Aaron Shanks) Carley; 3 grandchildren, MaKenna, Zachary and Alexa; 2 siblings, Gary (Teresa) Carley, Sr. and Tamara (Michael) Kelly; mother of his daughters, Deborah Oszust; 2 nephews Ryan Kelly and Gary (Ashley) Carley, Jr.; 2 nieces, Melissa (Daniel Morin) Kelly and Genny (Joshua) Cunningham; very close friends, Mark (Kim) Oberley and John Kellogg; many other loving family members and friends.
