MANKOWSKI, Stella. - of Clio, age 84, died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at her residence with family by her side. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 12PM Saturday, September 16, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 11110 Saginaw St., in Mt. Morris. Family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 11AM until the time of service at 12PM. Inurnment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at a later date.
Stella was born September 22, 1932 in Gaylord, Michigan, to the late Frank and Sophia (Malak) Kosiara. She married John L. Mankowski August 21, 1954 in Gaylord. He preceded her in death June 9, 2017. Stella was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mt. Morris and was active with the Altar Society. She enjoyed collecting angels.
Surviving are: Children: Patricia (Jim) Sanders, Jeanette Head, Timothy Mankowski, Donald (Faith) Mankowski, Larry (Maria) Mankowski; Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many other loving family members and dear friends.
