SMITH, James "Jim" Michael - Age 66, of Lennon, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020. In accordance with Jim's wishes, cremation will take place. Private services will take place at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.
Jim was born on June 19, 1954 in Flint, the son of Jack and Elizabeth (Dehmel) Smith. He graduated from Durand High School, class of 1972. Jim worked for over 30 years with the United States Post Office in Flint. He and Karey were united in marriage on May 1, 1993 in Las Vegas. Jim liked to relax in his free time, watching TV, taking a nap and playing cards. He enjoyed traveling to many places where he could gamble, playing Black Jack and Craps. Jim will always be remembered by his smile.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karey; 2 sons, Nicholas (Nichole) Will and Adam (Jennifer) Will; 3 grandchildren, Carter, Paisley and Selah; 2 sisters, Sherry (Colin) Kingsbury and Debby (Mark) McAfee; 2 special friends, Larry Readman and John Alderman; and several nieces and nephews.
