KING, Jennifer Lynn - age 52, of Fenton, died Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, October 14, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Fr. Todd Koenigsknecht celebrant. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a scripture service will be held at 7 PM Friday evening. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM - 11 AM Saturday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Fenton Arts Council (www.fentonartscouncil.com). Jennifer was born June 24, 1965 in Flint the daughter of Richard K. and Marilyn L. (Hatfield) King. She was a graduate of Fenton High School where she was very active in sports. She then received a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from the College of Creative Studies in Detroit. Jennifer was a professional artist. She had painted many murals throughout Fenton and recently illustrated a children's book "Finding Heaven". Jennifer loved the outdoors and animals. Surviving are: mother, Marilyn King of Fenton; three sisters, Lorraine (Thomas) Chapman of Durand, Kathleen (Daniel) Breidenstein of Missouri, and Christina King of Fenton; brother, Richard King of Milford; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her father, Richard; sister, Teresa King; and niece, Tracie Clark. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituary page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
