Walczak, Michael of Flushing, age 60, died Thursday, July 18, 2019, at McLaren-Flint. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Ken Sharp will officiate. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Foundation.
Michael was born in Flint, Michigan on March 5, 1959, the son of Henry and Dolores (Bedore) Walczak. He married Carol Parks on October 28, 2000.
Michael is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Jenny and husband Jeromy Lauwers, Richard and wife Jessica Parks, Jason Parks and Holly Williams; grandchildren, Dawson and Avery Lauwers, Gavin and Zoie Parks, Luna Williams, Finn Parsk; siblings, Larry and wife Carol Walczak, Alaine and husband John Weiss, Karen Sobieray, Mary and husband Dewayne Baxter, Kathy and husband Keith Bowden.
