HARRIS, Christina Ann-Thompson – of Davison, age 36, passed away September 29, 2014 at her residence. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, October 4, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison, Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski celebrant. Cremation will follow the mass. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison and 9 AM until the time of the Mass on Saturday at the church. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family payable to Jason Harris.
Christina was born in Flint, MI on January 16, 1978, daughter of Harvey Thompson Jr., Kathy (Hooper) Mays and stepfather, James Mays. She married Jason Harris on August 16, 2003. Christina was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, swimming, spending time with her children, watching the Tigers and family game nights.
Christy is survived by her husband, Jason; children, Hailey James Harris and Kaliann Jay Harris; stepchildren, Zachary Thomas Harris and Mia Jean Harris; step grandchild, Adalynn Nicole Jean Harris; sisters, Katrina (Jason) Sharon, Patricia Mays and Lee Hutchinson; uncle, Jim Hooper; cousins, Kayla Hooper and Hunter Hooper; grandmothers, Kathryn Hooper and Viola J. Thompson; several aunts, uncles and cousins; brother-in-law, Jeffrey (Alexis) Harris and niece Evelyn Harris; sister-in-law, Rachael Harris; mother-in-law, Theresa Harris. She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Ray Thompson Jr.; father-in-law, James Harris; grandfathers, Harvey Ray Thompson, Sr. and Harold “Jim” Hooper.
