Lottie Marie "Pete" (Williams) Rumisek
Age 95 passed away on April 24, 2019 at her home in Chesaning, Michigan.
Lottie was born on January 21, 1924 at her family home in New Haven Township, the sixth of eight children born to the late J.C. and Lottie M. (Beamish) Williams.
She was united in marriage to Emil G. Rumisek on November 24, 1945 in Owosso. They enjoyed 71 years of marriage before Emil's death on July 28, 2017.
Lottie was a member of the Easton Church of Christ, Order of Eastern Star and the Corunna VFW 4005. Lottie worked at Redmonds in Owosso and Family Rexall (Kaser Drugstore) in Chesaning.
Lottie is survived by her son George (Jean) Rumisek; daughters Janis (Steve) Jarrad and Cathy (Robert) Zajdlik; daughter-in-law Theresa Rumisek; grandchildren Jennifer (Erick) Maldonado, Peter (Jodie) Rumisek, Daniel (Alecia) Rumisek, Christopher Rumisek, Jeffrey (Sara) Rumisek, Julie (Rob) Karbassi, Michelle (John) Luplow, Sarah Samson, Courtney Jarrad, Christine Edson and Rachel (Scott) Martineau; 26 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and one on the way.
She is also survived by her brother J.C. Williams, sisters-in-law Jane Rumisek and Ruth (Lee) Stinson; many nieces and nephews and loving family and friends.
Lottie was welcomed home by her husband Emil, son Michael and granddaughter Jessica Zajdlik along with her parents, sisters Lelah (Hartley) Donahue, Lois (Robert) Burke, Verna (Tom) Harris and Marjorie (Clifford) Jenkinson; brothers Wilmot Williams and Robert (Barb) Williams; sisters-in-law Betty Williams, Mildred (Joseph) Spousta and Vera (Robert) Halka and brothers-in-law George Rumisek and Miroslav "Matt" Rumisek.
Lottie has been cremated and a memorial service honoring Lottie and Emil will be held at Easton Church of Christ on Saturday May 11, 2019 at 11am.
