GOODRICH, Evelyn Fay (Seward)- Of Alpena and Flint, age 85, died Friday, January 16, 2015 at Florida Hospital in Sebring, Florida, with her family by her side.
A Celebration of Evelyn's Life will be held 11am Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Josh Combs officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 2-8pm Thursday and 9am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be directed to the Wounded Warriors Project.
Evelyn was born in Flint on October 2, 1929, the daughter of the late Wiley and Vena Seward. Evelyn graduated from Central High School. She was a professional Archery Champion in 1965 and served as the Secretary of the PAA. Evelyn loved hunting, fishing and spending time with her family.
Surviving are husband of 65 years, Bruce;
children, Deborah (Dale) Trudeau, Bruceen Goodrich, Gary (Caroline) Goodrich and Steven (Sue) Goodrich;
and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Wiley and William Seward.
